Dog Tracking and Training Features:

This system pairs seamlessly with compatible ALPHA dog collars, eliminating the need for a separate handheld device. It allows you to track and train up to 20 dogs within a range of 9 miles, depending on the collars in use. Users can monitor their dog’s real-time position and activity levels.

The device offers control over 18 levels of stimulation, tone, or vibration when used with training-enabled collars. It also features a dog list and group management, enabling you to save up to 250 dogs in memory, which streamlines the process of naming each dog for hunting expeditions.

The Channel View option simplifies the selection of less congested collar frequencies to minimize interference. Additionally, location data can be transferred between compatible Garmin devices for enhanced functionality.

Hunt Metrics provides insights into each dog’s daily hunting behavior, tracking their distance, speed, and time spent outdoors. By utilizing the ALPHA app, you can follow your dogs’ movements, mark waypoints, navigate, and access statistics from your hunting experiences directly on your smartphone.

Map and Navigation Features:

The device features a high-resolution 1280 x 800 10-inch touchscreen display, allowing users to view content in both portrait and landscape modes. It can be used while docked in a vehicle or as a portable device with a Bluetooth connection, providing up to 2 hours of battery life at a range of 10 feet. 

Preloaded with TopoActive maps, this device includes detailed information not only on major highways and waterways but also on smaller roads, creeks, and streams. Users can enhance their experience by downloading satellite imagery. 

Additionally, it comes equipped with a built-in 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter for precise navigation. An Outdoor Maps+ subscription offers users regularly updated premium map content, conveniently delivered wirelessly to their ALPHA XL device.
