SCAN AVERAGING TECHNOLOGY

Garmin features for the very first time a scan averaging technology that filters out sea clutter and any other interference allowing enhanced detection and display of consistent targets.

HIGH PERFORMANCE ANTENNAS

The 6′ open-array radar antennas are 100-knot wind-rated with rotation speeds of 24 and 48 RPM powerful enough to scan max range of up to 96 nautical miles on the 25kW version. (Covers up to 72 nautical miles on the 4 and 12kW versions).

IMPROVED TARGET SIZE PROCESSING

Garmin’s pulse expansion and angular target-size processing technology allows for enhanced interpretation of on-screen object shapes.

DUAL RANGE WITH OVERLAY

Garmin’s radar is a dual-range scanner with split-screen overlay that provides side-by-side images on your compatible chart plotter with independent setting for both long and close range objects.
