In the meantime, if you can place your Glowforge near a window, you can print without the air filter. Your Glowforge comes with everything you need to vent outdoors. 

Glowforge lasers, like all lasers, require ventilation. All Glowforge printers come with a hose to vent through a window within 8 feet reach. If you can not ensure ventilation through a window, Glowforge Air Filter is here to help. No bigger than a bin, the filter is easily stored on the ground near your Glowforge printer, under a desk or table. It cleans the air and allows safe operation from anywhere : home, school, or office.

While the lifespan of the cartridge can be dramatically impacted by the type of material you print on, please find below results of tests conducted by Glowforge. The test print represents an average Glowforge print; it’s 11 minutes long and is a mix of cutting and engraving that reflects typical usage.
